I do hope you are all able to read the writing and see the pictures clearly. Clicking on the pictures should enlarge them. What a wonderful day to be in Tewkesbury, Monday, APRIL 1st.

This blog is dedicated to Piers Gaveston, Earl Of Cornwall. Piers, also known as Perrot, was the favourite of Edward II. Depending on historical interpretation, the definition of 'favourite' ranges from 'brother', 'beloved friend' or 'lover'. This blog will be a mix of historical narrative, personal opinion and hopefully some lighter postings! The Plus will cover other historical matters.

Oh, this is so exciting! I'm buying my plane tickets now!
This is *fabulous* news! :D :D
Anerje, you were indeed lucky to be there :-) and the car parks seem lucky for the kings :-)
OK, now we should check the car parks in Osnabrück and surroundings for the headless body of Varus. The head went to Rome, that we know, but the rest must still be somewhere. :-P
