A Visit to Chepstow Castle

I visited Chepstow Castle a couple of weeks ago, and was amazed at the sime of it. It was built in Norman times, around 1067, and is famous for being in possession by William Marshall. It was badly damaged in the English Civil war. Here's a link for more info -

Nice photos. The first two are from an angle I missed when I visited the place in 2008 - where did you stand to get those?

sorry to reply so late Gabriele. We went over by the bridge that leads to England. Best I can describe it is passed the information centre, near the first/last pub in Wales:>

I came from Cardiff, that explains it. Never got near that bridge.
